My Favorite Green Smoothie

The most magical, thick, and creamy smoothie, no wonder it’s my favorite green smoothie. It’s packed with all the plants, protein, and healthy fats and perfect for starting your day on the right foot.

My favorite green smoothie, featuring extra creaminess a healthy balance of all the good stuff you need to start your day!

I think green smoothies are often misinterpreted. They’re like the stereotypical epitome of health, but there are reasons to have them beyond the nutrients. They sure are green and healthy, but they’re also MAGICAL. Like I’ve literally chosen to have my favorite green smoothie over pancakes (and you know how I feel about pancakes) because summer’s got me feeling some kinda way about throwing something in a jar and calling it a breakfast. Or snack.

Some of my favorite non-fruit or veggie smoothie ingredients:
For creaminess: dates and nut butter
For flavor: ginger and sea salt
For fun: coconut water and a cookie for topping! Can’t tell you how fun it is to slurping along and then come across a cookie dough chunk. I used my tahini oatmeal cookies from this ice cream sandwich post.

My favorite green smoothie combo just has to have a little bit of all my favorites, so that would be frozen bananas, frozen mangoes, steamed and then frozen zucchini, frozen avocado, mixed greens, homemade nut milk made with a nut milk bag, and a scoop of Vital Protein’s plain collagen peptides. I like most of the fruits and veggies frozen so that my smoothie is thick. I always use my Vitamix for blending but any high-speed blender works!

Hi there! I’m Anisha. This is where I like to share my favorite plant-forward eats, with joy and flavor being my topmost priorities. When I'm not cooking or photographing my creations, I'm probably running, tuning into a good podcast or book, or doing typical college student stuff. I hope you find something that excites you here!
